Masjid Uthman Bin Affan serves as more than just a place of worship; it is a cultural and religious center dedicated to the displaced Muslims of Myanmar. Beyond its spiritual role, the mosque functions as a charitable organization, providing essential support to Rohingya and Burmese Muslims as they rebuild their lives. It fosters social connections, preserves cultural heritage, and strengthens faith, ensuring that those who have faced hardship find solace and a sense of belonging.
Muslims of Rohingya and Burmese Muslims have endured so much. They had to leave their homes with dead bodies of loved ones. Masjid Uthman Bin Affan provides shelter to them. Moreover, it helps them overcome the trauma, and adjust to new culture while maintaining their identity. Masjid Uthman Bin Affan is the fort for these helpless people which provides religious guidance, a cultural platform, and much-needed social assistance.

Uthman Bin Affan is not just a prayer mosque. It is a religious hub, a cultural community an educational institution, and much more. It provides the following services.
We provide complete funeral services to the dead bodies of Muslims. It includes giving ghusl, offering funeral prayer, burial, and seeking blessings through prayers for the diseased.
Our services also include guiding young couples in Marriage counseling. We help individuals deal with family issues and emotional problems. This aids them in living a happy married life.
Women are an important part of our community. Therefore, we focus on education. Our team also ensures that women have a safe environment and they work within the principles of Islam. Similarly, gender equality is also ensured in our institution.
Masjid Uthman bin Affan has thee services of food well. We prepare halal foods and drinks according to the dietary laws of Islam. In this way, our team offers halal and healthy foods to our Muslim brothers and sisters.
Our outreach department has the job of connecting with other communities. They make contacts and coordinate with different Muslim as well as local communities. As a result, they help engage the Rohingya and Burmese Muslims with local people.
Sheltering the displaced One of the key features of Masjid Uthman bin Affan is sheltering the Rohingya and Burmese Muslims Most of the Muslims come without necessary luggage. It is because they are forced out of their houses with the scars of losing loved ones. We provide shelter to them. Give them food, and clothes and enroll them in different programs to forget the old traumas and start a new.
Masjid Uthman bin Affan offers a place to offer prayers. There is a weekly Friday prayer. Along with this, there are multiple summons and teaching sessions to stay connected and strengthen the faith. Similarly, Quran session in the Burmese language keeps them close to Islam.
Our masjid brings people together. Not only from the Muslim community but also from other religious backgrounds as well. This helps connect and create a sense of unity.
Our social support to local Muslims extends to providing housing facilities. Similarly, we find employment and healthcare facilities for them. In addition to that, there are English learning programs that help them learn English as a second language. By crossing the language barrier, they can easily integrate into a new environment.
Refugees from Myanmar come with great trauma. Therefore, we listen to their experiences and provide counseling. By doing so, they overcome the trauma of past experiences and start a new life here.
One of the major features of Masjid Uthman bin Affan is the preservation of Rohingya and Burmese Muslims culture. We celebrate Islamic days and Islamic events. People join them as a Muslim community. These events allow the younger generation to know and connect with their roots.

Along with connecting with the roots, we also offer services to integrate the Rohingya and Burmese Muslims community into the new society. We do so by educating the Rohingya and Burmese Muslims community. They learn the English language and other traits of society. Additionally, we take the stories of migrants to the local community to help them understand their trauma. Through these mutual connections, we create a sense of integration in society.
